Quick Actions

Iterable offers marketers tools to create, analyze, and manage campaigns, but previously lacked a way to search for individual assets without loading their respective indexes. This meant users had to navigate to specific index pages, making searches cumbersome and inefficient. This made accessing resources cumbersome, timely, and Iterable was making expensive backend queries for tables of assets that would often go unused.

The start of this project began as a hack during Iterable's annual engineering-led "hackathon" in December 2023. This event gave engineers a chance to brainstorm, design, and build creative ideas for the Iterable product in just a few days. Historically, product and design where consulted in the process, but not typically leading a hack or directly contributing code. Having built a relationship with many of our engineers through my work on the Aurora Design System, I managed to recruit 4 engineers and another designer to assist me in building out this hack.
